Recreational Paradise
Far in the Northeast between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains of New Hampshire you will find the Lakes Region of Maine. With more than 50 lakes scattered among green rolling hills near Sebago Lake, less than half an hour northwest of Portland. The Sebago Lake Region is one of “ New England’s best recreational life styles.”  The region is not only know for it’s crystal clear lakes & ponds, and attractive only in the heat of the summer, but with our fresh air, pure water, and inspiring woods, breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, great golf courses, the brilliant night sky & mountains, and events such as the Mushers Bowl, snowmobiling adventures, winter carnivals, ice fishing derbies, snowshoeing, cross-country  and down hill skiing has made it a year around region.
Sebago Lake is the second largest lake in the state, covering 45 square miles and over 28000 acres and over 300 feet deep in parts.
Among the popular smaller lakes nearby are Panther Pond, Little Sebago, Long Lake, Thompson Lake, Coffee Pond, Brandy Pond, Moose Pond, Pleasant Lake, Crescent Lake, 2 Highland Lakes, Thomas Pond, Saturday Pond, Trickey Pond, & Crystal Lake. Windham, Raymond, Casco, Standish, Sebago, Bridgton, Denmark, Harrison, Naples, Frye Island, Gray, Sweden, & Otisfield are all towns in the Lakes Region.
